Give Veterans A Smile
The Maryland State Dental Association Chartiable and Educational Foundation (MSDAF) is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing oral health and expanding access to care for underserved communities across the state. Through the Give Veterans A Smile (GVAS) initiative partnered with the American Dental Association (ADA), MSDAF is launching a coordinated effort to ensure Maryland Veterans receive the dental care and dignity they deserve.
Program Vision: GVAS program envisions a Maryland where all veterans, regardless of their insurance status or financial circumstances, have access to essential dental care and a trusted dental home. Our vision is to build a sustainable circumstances, have access to essential dental compassion.
Through GVAS, we aim to create:
- Equitable access to oral health services
- A seamless process for connecting veterans to care
- Meaningful opportunities for providers to give back
- A healthier, more supported veteran community
